Who We Are

More Than a Workshop

We're coaches, athletes, meet directors, and students of strength. We've spent years competing, coaching, and helping athletes navigate the challenges that come with getting stronger.

Our goal is to bring together experienced coaches and athletes to share the principles that consistently produce results — whether you're stepping onto the platform for the first time or chasing world-level performance.

Proven principles, practical application, and honest conversations about what it really takes to get stronger.

What Drives Us

Mission & Vision

Our Mission

To bring athletes and coaches together to share knowledge, elevate performance, and strengthen the powerlifting community.

Our Vision

To build a culture where people embrace challenge as a pathway to becoming their best selves.

About Us

Our Story

Founded by Reggie Cosmeus, Peter Pires, Evan Hawk, and Evan Wimbish on a shared belief:

The pursuit of strength develops discipline, resilience, and confidence that extend far beyond the gym.

As athletes, coaches, meet directors, and lifelong students of strength, they've experienced firsthand how powerlifting transforms more than physical performance. Every training cycle, every setback, and every breakthrough is an opportunity to build character, develop confidence, and discover what you're truly capable of.

They also understand that while strength is an individual pursuit, no one reaches their full potential alone. The greatest progress happens when athletes and coaches come together to share knowledge, challenge one another, and elevate the standard for everyone.

Central Florida Powerlifting Workshop was created to cultivate that environment.

More than a workshop, it is a platform dedicated to education, community, and the continued growth of the sport. Through live events, educational content, podcasts, social media, and collaborative learning opportunities, the organization brings athletes and coaches together to share knowledge, elevate performance, and strengthen the powerlifting community.

Whether you're preparing for your first meet, chasing a national record, transitioning from competitive athletics, or simply someone who embraces challenge as a path toward becoming your best self, Central Florida Powerlifting Workshop exists to provide the knowledge, support, and community to help you continue growing.

Because strength isn't a destination—it's the process that shapes who we become.
